Marc Etherington is a Senior Associate in the family department.
Marc has experience in all areas of family law and regularly acts for those who are seeking advice on the breakdown of their relationship or assistance on matters relating to their children. To date, Marc has acted for clients who reside across the UK as well as those that live abroad. Marc is only one of the few family lawyers to be trained in collaborative law. This concept allows parties to have a greater control over the process to meet their specific needs, allows their lawyers to work more closely together and ensure all parties are committed to avoid the uncertain outcome often seen in court proceedings.
He is heavily involved in the national organisation Resolution and currently sits on the Resolution Parenting After Parting Committee, Resolution London Region Committee and YRes National Committee after being elected by his peers. These roles give Marc a strong voice on future policies and training adopted by Resolution for its members including matters involving parents and their children following separation.
Marc has previously been recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in the Legal 500 and was nominated for Associate of the Year at the national Family Law Awards in 2019. This nomination at the Family Law Awards highlights Marc’s growing reputation in the London market and within the profession across England and Wales.
